Bookmark or Share- FSX vs MSFS, Pros and Cons, my opinion. - Microsoft Flight Simulator ...I was a dedicated FSX user from the day it appeared in 2006 until last September, when it was displaced by MSFS. FSX, enhanced by Ultimate Terrain and other mods, was a great flight simulator in its time. Today it is a museum piece, interesting as an important part of flight sim history but terminal as far as further development is concerned.
- FSX Won't Run - Windows 11 - Fix! - FlightSim.ComI tried reinstalling Steam and FSX, verifying the files, creating a shortcut from the Steam-FSX directory, and running as administrator, but no luck there. From Steam, I can run other applications, such as FS-4 and War Thunder. I can run MSFS ok, but I can't run X-plane.
- Has anyone used FSX on Windows 11 yet? - FlightSim.ComGood call! At least as long as what you need is still doable on X. And it surely isn't as overwhelmed with unwanted ads!!!! Having said that, X operations are getting more out of date every day. Sad to say, in time you will either be drug kicking and screaming to 11 or find another operating system instead. I've looked but not found it yet.
